The PN12E is a Performance series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez in mid 2014. It was produced in China.

The PN12E features a parlor body constructed of a laminated mahogany top, back, and sides with a high gloss finish. The round soundhole has a black and white acrylic rosette. The mahogany neck joins the body at the 12th fret and has an 18-fret rosewood fingerboard with small white dot position markers. Components include a compensated plastic saddle in a rosewood bridge with ivory Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome Ibanez tuning machines.

The PN12E's electronics consist of an Ibanez under saddle pickup connected to an AEQ2T preamp with on-board tuner powered by a 9V battery and feeding a ¼" stereo output jack.

For 2018 the mahogany back and sides were replaced with sapele and the rosewood fretboard and bridge were replaced with nandu wood or ormosia (depending on market). For 2019 the neck was changed from mahogany to nyatoh and the fretboard and bridge were nandu wood. For 2021 the body width was very slightly increased. For 2025 the script font headstock logo was changed to the italic block font design.

The PN12MHE is a similar model with an okoume body. The PC12MHCE and PF12MHCE are related models with, respectively, grand concert cutaway and dreadnought cutaway bodies.

The PN12E was discontinued after 2025.
