GUITAR FOR ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS - $319.00
This course is designed to get you playing your guitar quickly in a relaxed one-hour weekly class with other enthusiastic adults . Over the course of this ten week program you will learn to play great songs by such artists as The Beatles, Sheryl Crow, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Pearl Jam, Bob Marley , Guns 'n' Roses and many others with confidence. Each week, you and your classmates will be led through one of the ten lesson modules in our course curriculum with each class working towards playing a new song applying the lessons of that week. You'll learn fundamental habits of good guitar playing, basic chords, strums and achieve a good foundation on which to build upon for further study in all styles of guitar. Absolutely no prior musical experience is needed. As well, no note reading is required. All materials are provided and you can even use our guitars in your class if you'd like.

These newly acquired skills will help you work towards playing songs by artists such as Tom Petty, Nirvana, Coldplay, Jack Johnson, The Eagles and more. As with all of our beginner courses, all new techniques specifically lead towards playing songs, often a new one each week. All materials are provided and as always, students are welcome to use one of our classroom guitars for their lesson.

Students can expect to learn songs from artists such as The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, REM, AC/DC and many more. As with our other beginner courses, all new techniques lead our students towards playing songs, often a new one each week. All material is included and students may use any of our classroom guitars if they'd like. By the end of this course, students are well on their way to enjoying a lifetime of guitar playing enjoyment. At this point, students may choose to enroll in one of our elective courses or pursue private instruction with one of our teachers. Some may simply choose to enjoy their newly developed skill as a full fledged guitar player.

If you have ever wanted to better understand and play the blues, this course is for you. Students will gain an understanding of the basic concepts and techniques required to play the blues while playing songs by artists such as BB King, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters and Chuck Berry to name a few. Special attention will be paid to rhythm guitar and soloing techniques to create a strong foundation in blues guitar. All materials are included and as always, students are welcome to use one of our classroom guitars during their lesson.

You've been at guitar now for the better part of 30 weeks or more and you obviously love it. Congratulations on making it this far, its not easy as you well know but so much fun. You've finished all three of the entry level courses in the Absolute Beginner Program and you've learned a lot of new skills but you still have lots to learn. The Final Frontier program aims to take players from their technical beginning stages and elevate their playing with more practical lessons based on the foundation laid in the first three courses. In other words, really get you playing a lot more songs by introducing you to advanced barre chords, finger style playing, lead techniques, the blues and much more. This course is a natural continuation of your group lessons beyond the Intermediate Beginner course.
