THE KAOS SCHOOL OF MUSIC

The Kaos School of Music was founded the day we opened our store in 1989. From the very beginning, we believed strongly in the concept of music education. Our school offers private instruction in piano, guitar, drums, bass, violin, woodwinds and vocal for students aged 7 to senior.

We also offer courses for younger children starting at the age of 4 using the famous Yamaha Music Education System as well as group guitar classes exclusively for adults. Our private instruction is done on a one on one basis in a 30 minute class, once per week. At Kaos Music Centre, we believe strongly that music is best learned in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. While all of our teachers are uniquely different, they all share common goals, solid musical fundamentals, fostering good musicality and encouraging as much fun as possible. While all of our instructors are highly qualified it is their unique personalities and fun loving approach which make our school truly outstanding.

HOW OUR LESSON SCHEDULING WORKS

Our school year is organized into four 10 week sessions beginning in September, running until the end of June. In July and August, we offer four 2 week sessions. When a student decides to join our school we charge them for the balance of whichever session we happen to be in at that time. For example: if you joined our school in the first week of a session, we would charge you for all 10 weeks of that session. If you happened to join 5 weeks into a session we would only charge you for the balance of the session which in this case would be 5 weeks. Our session schedule is listed below for your reference.

Two weeks before the end of each session we automatically charge our students for the following session using either a supplied credit card number or supplied post dated cheques. This automatic procedure serves two purposes. Firstly, you as a student do not have to remember any registration dates. Secondly, with our considerably large enrolment, it allows us to efficiently process all of our payments on one day every ten weeks. Students who wish to discontinue lessons may stop at any time. Any paid lesson which has not yet passed will be promptly refunded. The cost of lessons and our 2012/2013 session dates are listed below.
