Effects
The Pandora series of guitar multi effect processors has been around for the better part of 10 years. Back in the beginning, this type of small, pocket sized guitar processor was pretty unique albeit a bit expensive for the time. However, over the years, there has been a few incarnations of this series and this PX4D is the most recent. Like its predecessors the PX4D has lots of built in effects for guitar and bass. New to this version is the addition of numerous amp models as well as many cabinet models all designed to make the unit sound more authentic. Up to seven effects can be used at once giving the used virtually unlimited sonic potential. The unit also has a built in phrase training feature great for recording something from a mp3 player, slowing it down and looping, great for lifting hard to figure out parts. It also has 100 built in drum and bass patterns for you to practice over top of. Another cool feature for bass players is a bass cancel feature that lets you eliminate the bass from an external audio source. So, it goes without saying that this unit is a fantastic practice aid. More then that though, it could be used in home recording utilizing the guitar processor functions as well as the drums and bass patterns. While it is not really designed for performance, it would be a lot easier to transport this little box to a rehearsal then your full pedal set up. At less then $200 it makes a lot of sense. Oh, it really sounds good. They're in stock, drop in to check one out.
