We've been quietly waiting now for quite a long time to get the opportunity to bring in the Roland electronic drum line and the wait is finally over. At the recent Namm show in January we had a chance to play the new TD4K and TD9K kits and we were blown away. In the world of high end electronic drums, both Roland and Yamaha battle it out for customer share and up until now we have only been able to satisfy the Yamaha customers. Now, our small drum department just got bigger with the addition of the Roland drums and we couldn't be happier. The TD4K and the TD4KX are in the $1100 to $1675 range respectively and offer exceptional feeling pads and some of the best acoustic sounds available. The TD9 kit ups the ante in the sound department as well as the pads themselves. Both kits are extremely nice to play offering a truly realistic playing experience. New kits should be arriving this week so drop in to check them out. For more information check out the

Yamaha has long been recognized as one of the world leaders in the drum department, both acoustic and electronic. What they are NOT is a company that makes an inexpensive line of drums. That is, up until now. Yamaha has never wanted to be associated with cheap drums which is why they have never made them. However, in that past year they have come up with a great quality kit at a really competitive price... finally. The Gig Maker kits has top notch Yamaha hardware and the shells are very high quality wood and construction. For less then $600 for this 5 pc kit (sans cymbals and a throne) this makes for a really great value. Great price finally gets you world renowned Yamaha drums. And what's even cooler is all of the new sparkle finishes that they have just released. We've got a number of these kits in stock now for you to check out.
