It never ends, Yamaha's P series of digital pianos just keeps on getting better and less expensive. The P series was born years ago with the P 60. Back then (maybe 10 years ago) the P 60 sold for $1299 if my memory serves me correctly. At that time the big deal was that Yamaha had produced a digital piano with great fully weighted keys that weighed less then 50 lbs and was half the cost of its closest competitor. Since then there has been no less then 6 more incarnations of this piano, the most current being the P 95. In our store now, the P95 still weighs less then 50 lbs, sounds fantastic (comparatively to the rest of the digital piano world) and now is priced less then $700. It's no wonder that this series continues to dominate the world of portable digital pianos.

Utilizing a real concert grand type key action combined with award winning sampling Yamaha has created an instrument that piano players around the world agree feels like the real thing. At about a half the price, weight and size of the real thing this product is a sure fit for many piano players in smaller spaces.
