We're always on the look out for a product that we feel is incredible but not being well represented in stores. Well, Godin has been making perhaps one of the best single coil guitars in the world for some time now but stores have been reluctant to carry it. Probably because it's price and the fact that it doesn't have a more synonymous name printed on the headstock. I can't be too hard on other stores, we haven't carried it either... until now that it. A few months ago, we (Lou, Jay and I) had an opportunity to speak with Robert Godin at the recent Miac show. This was a real pleasure mainly because Robert is a guy who obviously loves his work. His enthusiasm was infectious and his passion for his pet project the RG-3 was compelling. By the end of the conversation we had all but decided that we would get behind the RG-3 Passion guitar. In the next month or so we will receive two different RG-3's, one with the Mahogany top and the other with the Maple top. Watch for the announcement of their arrival .
