I first walked into KAOS on a summer day in 2007 to ask about guitar
lessons. Right away, they found me a time slot with a great teacher, Frank
Cosentino. They lent me a guitar and amplifier at no cost through
their Getting Started in Music program. Even though I was an absolute beginner, the staff made me feel like I was a part of their musical community. That feeling has grown through the KAOS Jams that Bill hosts for his customers throughout the year.

I purchased two more guitars from KAOS -- both left-handed special orders -- as well as a couple of amps, some effects pedals and computer software. I brought in a friend's guitar for repair and he was thrilled with the results. I've dealt with most (if not all) of the sales staff and they have always been enthusiastic and knowledgeable.

Whenever anyone asks me where I take lessons, where I buy my gear or if I know any good music shops, I happily recommend KAOS.

This course is designed to get you playing your guitar quickly in a relaxed one-hour weekly class with other enthusiastic adults . Over the course of this ten week program you will learn to play great songs by such artists as The Beatles, Sheryl Crow, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Pearl Jam, Bob Marley , Guns 'n' Roses and many others with confidence. Each week, you and your classmates will be led through one of the ten lesson modules in our course curriculum with each class working towards playing a new song applying the lessons of that week. You'll learn fundamental habits of good guitar playing, basic chords, strums and achieve a good foundation on which to build upon for further study in all styles of guitar. Absolutely no prior musical experience is needed. As well, no note reading is required. All materials are provided and you can even use our guitars in your class if you'd like.
