THE KAOS JAM

Next Jam - TBA

If you are a customer of KAOS Music, a friend of a customer or just an adult who’d like to play their instrument live with some experienced players, the KAOS Jam is for you. The JAM is hosted by our store, once every 10 weeks or so, held in the function room of the Crocked Cue (3056 Bloor Street - right above our store).

On Jam night, players, friends and family are encouraged to come out to take part in our Jam. You pick songs from our song book to play with our band. Depending on how many people come out on a given night will determine how many songs you can perform. We will have a host on hand to coordinate the participants. As well, many of the KAOS staff will be on hand to sit in with the band with you if you’d like. The idea is to give our customers a chance to get up on a stage and play some live music with a great band. How good you are and how well you play your songs is of very little importance to us, all we care about is having fun and enjoying a few hours relaxing, playing some music, having a few drinks and enjoying some really good pub food. There is no charge to participate. You just pay for your food and drinks.

In order to facilitate a smooth Jam, we have a song book with lots of classic rock songs in it. Click here for a list of tunes. Feel free to prepare a song in advance or just wing it. If you’d like a copy of a song, please feel free to come by the store to pick one up in advance.

Even though it was the same night as the first Olympic mens hockey game, we still managed to get a good turn out and have a ton of fun. and... We totally won the hockey game.
