Jay grew up in the Etobicoke area and was one of Kaos Music’s first customers. Ironically, he has become one of the stores key employees. After finishing school, Jay went on to become a full time painter. However, the elusive draw of music pulled him back to the music business. While Jay still does a bit of painting (he is very good) his main focus these days is Kaos where he specializes in our technology and recording department. As well, Jay is primarily in charge of all of the small accessory items that we sell, a very big job (no pun intended). Jay also teaches customers how to use there recording equipment, in particular the Cubase recording software. As well, Jay runs a small home studio that specializes in soundtrack recording.
Jay’s main instrument is Guitar but can get by on piano and drums. Jay and his partner Fiona live in Toronto by week and up north many weekend where Jay is legendary on the snowboard runs.
